It's time for the Fish of the Year awards again!

We held our Fishmas party on Friday, where a great time was had by all enjoying some fun and games in the Aquarium before heading to the Christmas Market for some warming pre-dinner gluhwein and steins. 

Next, we swam down to Ingram Wynd and demolished a delicious dinner while celebrating a fintastic year for the Fish.  We've grown in size all round, with new positions within the company seeing the shoal grow by over 35% and hundreds of new users swimming to success with Firefish.

The part of Fishmas we most look forward to is finding out who we've voted to be our Fish of the Year. Each year we recognise someone who has gone above and beyond to demonstrate the Firefish values and made our lives at Firefish better. It's usually closely contended, however this year there was a runaway winner; and given the frequent amazing comments we receive from many of you about him, we're sure you'll be delighted to hear that this year's winner is...

Chief Problem Solver, Ross Turpie!

Ross was described by his colleagues as being exceptional, an absolute rock, constantly going above and beyond, completely unflappable, never takes himself too seriously, always has a smile for both clients and colleagues, always eager to help, a true Fish through and through...we could go on, but you get the picture: we love Ross!  We're delighted to recognise that Ross is not only a superstar when it comes to supporting our Fish friends, but has also made a massive impact within our team this year.  

When asked how it felt to win, Ross yet again demonstrated his modesty and amazing team spirit by saying:

"It's a great feeling to be recognised for the work I've been doing, particularly by my colleagues.  It has topped off a successful year for the Happiness team after picking up our SME National Business Award for Service Excellence last week.  Here's to an even more successful 2018!"
