Firefish Product Updates May

In recruitment, nothing stands still and at Firefish, neither does our software.

Our collective recruitment knowledge coupled with our user-community voice ensures we provide a product built by Recruiters, For Recruiters. Let’s take a look at a couple of the improvements we rolled out in May.

Product Updates

GAAPweb

We added GAAPweb to our ever-growing list of integrated job boards, meaning that consultants working in accountancy and finance can now make the most of multi-posting and see their applications come straight into their CRM.

Web Compliance

We also made a number of improvements to our compliance and GDPR offering through updates to the cookie policy - adding extra customisation, as well as improving the compliance requirements for Contract, Temp and Perm Placements to make sure that no placement goes through with out the proper paperwork.

SMS Marketing

Firefish users love our text message marketing function, allowing them to re-engage candidates and broadcast their jobs. This month we made some improvements to ensure that when multiple attempts to message a candidate returns as undelivered, you can remove them from your list. This keeps only the most engaged candidates and saves you money on wasted credits.

Blog Plugin

And finally, we have improved the capability of our blog plugin for those on our web offering so you can now add featured blogs into any page on your website. This allows for greater personalisation and the ability to attract more candidates to view your content.

Performance

Alongside our bigger feature updates, every month we make plenty of smaller improvements that don’t make the headlines but make sure that Firefish stays ahead of the curve. In May this included some improvements to the document editor feature, which allows users to edit CVs, Contracts and Terms of business all within the CRM.

Some tweaks were also made to the report builder to include a number of extra fields to allow you to track the terms of business when producing your report. Furthermore, we have made a raft of changes on the email settings for those on our Enterprise package allowing users to have different personal email settings across primary and secondary sites.
