Scottish Enterprise High Growth Startup

Firefish and Scottish Enterprise

Firefish was recently accepted onto Scottish Enterprise's High Growth Startup Programme.

Scottish Enterprise assesses start-ups for their potential to achieve a valuation of at least £5 million within 3 years, or revenue of £5 million within 5 years. Businesses that display a solid, scalable business model are then invited to attend a rigorous panel interview before being accepted onto the programme.

Our CEO Is Delighted

CEO Wendy McDougall said, "Getting recognised at this stage of business is excellent timing, because this programme is all about businesses accelerating aggressively for growth - which is exactly what we plan to do. Having worked with Scottish Enterprise in the past, we know the guidance and support they'll be able to give our team will be second to none. We're really looking forward to working with Greig [Sinclair, Business Growth Adviser] over the coming months."

The High Growth Startup Programme offers expert support around business strategy, identifying funding sources, developing hiring plans, and other areas integral to the growth of high potential Scottish startups.

Firefish have had a prosperous 2012 and are gearing up to bring on additional team members in 2013. Vacancies will be advertised on the Firefish website, Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
