Why we’ve created a Gmail add-in
Gmail is now the second largest paid email provider for businesses (after Outlook), and the numbers of Gmail users continues to grow every year. In fact, Gmail’s userbase has increased by 50% in the last two years alone!
With more and more recruitment teams choosing to use Google’s cloud-based services to increase productivity (which is why Firefish is cloud-based too!) we decided to release a Gmail add-in that links perfectly with our CRM so you can manage candidates any time, anywhere.
What the Firefish Gmail add-in does
Firefish for Gmail helps recruiters using Firefish Software streamline their email activity by managing their recruitment database directly from their email inbox.
Using Firefish for Gmail, when you’re adding or updating a candidate who you know is a perfect fit for a job you’re working, you can shortlist them without even going back into your CRM.
You can also easily move email content from your inbox into Firefish: Any CVs or candidate documents you upload from emails will be automatically added to the candidate’s records so they’re searchable within your database in a matter of minutes.
Firefish for Gmail also syncs diary events (e.g. interviews, meetings and CV deadlines) and follow-up calls with your Gmail calendar, meaning you'll receive reminders when important dates are coming up.
