If you love technology & recruitment this is your dream job!

Firefish is a fast-growing, established technology start-up and we’re searching for someone that can ensure we continue to build amazing software for recruitment professionals. The purpose of this role is to take the lead for testing and scheduling any issues, product improvements and client requests throughout all versions of Firefish on web, tablet and mobile.

You’re going to love this job if:

  1. User acceptance testing - You love problem solving and are able to quickly diagnose, prioritise and escalate any issues found. We are super agile and follow a weekly release schedule so you will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  1. Test management – You’re excited to work with the Head of Current Version and the Release Manager, ensuring that the prioritisation of tickets is completed with sufficient time for re-testing and making calls on whether tickets should be pulled from the weekly release.

  1. Requirements Manager – You want to become the product oracle, constantly analysing user journeys, feature usability, and user functionality. Communication is key, as we have a culture that strives for finding customer solutions not problems so you will enjoy delivering results back to the Happiness team and their clients.

We have a brilliant team to constantly learn from and with whom you can push the parameters of what’s possible. As well as taking the lead with our current version you’ll be able to really influence the next version’s feature development.

To apply you’ll ideally have been a Super User of a recruitment CRM system; or you’re a software tester for a software product; or you’ve successfully coordinated a software project with a 3rd party development team.  We’d be interested in chatting to you if you have this experience, however all of these skills can be taught to the right person: the key to this role is excellent communication and great documentation skills.

In return, we offer a relaxed working environment and great benefits including flexitime, monthly team lunches and lots more. We close early on Fridays, and you can grab a drink from our open bar. Your workload is not dictated to you – it’s in your own hands - and you’re not seen as just another ‘cog in the machine’.

So, if you want to be part of something ground-breaking, something different…join us!
