We're looking for an excellent data-driven inbound marketer who's ready to make a real difference in Firefish's next growth phase. You'll be in charge of attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for the business and nurturing those leads into demo requests for our sales team to work on.  You'll be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once, and you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by owning the data, email and automation marketing side of our business.

You're going to love this role if: 

  • You enjoy creating coherent and impactful email content for a variety of personas, from prospective customers to existing customers, and those who don't know about us yet! 
  • You have a keen eye for detail and are pernickety about the accuracy of information for new contacts that come into the business and making sure that these leads are actioned accordingly.
  • You love using HubSpot to nurture and research, and get great satisfaction from growing new leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, creating engaging landing pages, and producing lead-generating content. 
  • You're super organised and get a kick out of having free reign to strategise, plan, implement and manage all marketing automation.  This includes nurturing programmes, email campaigns and managing and optimising automation workflows, while also being involved in lead generation, campaign management and reporting and analysis management. 


Our ideal Email & Marketing Automation Specialist will have at least 2 years' email marketing experience, working with a marketing automation software (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, Infusionsoft or Pardot).  You know how to use this software to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads and then nurture them into customers using dynamic workflows.  You have a full grasp of persona marketing and know how to craft personalised campaigns based on needs, challenges and stages of the buyer journey.  You have experience in building automation workflows and nurturing campaigns to convert leads into customers, and love testing out new strategies and using your data to inform your decisions.  


Experience with HTML/CSS and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Photoshop) would be beneficial, as would experience of working for a SaaS business and knowledge of the recruitment industry.
